Agusan del Norte is a province of the Philippines located in the Caraga region in Mindanao. Its capital is Cabadbaran and borders Surigao del Norte to the north, Surigao del Sur to the east, Agusan del Sur to the south, and Misamis Oriental to the west. It faces Butuan Bay, part of the Bohol Sea, to the northwest.
On June 28, 2006, I went home to my birthplace in Butuan City. After ten years and ten months of absence, I realized there had been a lot of changes.

What a great panoramic scene. I would perhaps erase the tail end of the pumpboat where the stripe begins for good balance.

What an extraordinary shot. The banana plants seem to move. It makes me off balance. That makes it a great picture.

These are logs being towed by tug boats. These are to be made as plywoods. That huts is for the security guards' shelter against the heat of the sun. They need guards because along the way, some of these logs are being robbed out...

Wow! What beautiful memories. I am an American, married to a Filipina from Buenavista. We have a photo, taken January 2006, with us standing in front of the captial in Butuan. We want and hope to visit Buenavista and Butuan many more times in the future. I really enjoy your photos. Many blessings to you.
